Case Study - Employment Class Action - Plaintiff
Issue at Dispute -
A complex, multi-party class action lawsuit in Federal court, District of Michigan. The suit involves
a nationwide food and beverage company that allegedly misrepresented the contents of their products.
As a result, the plaintiffs lost their jobs due to Federal regulatory requirements at their employers.
Our Role -
We were hired by the plaintiffs' attorneys to evaluate lost economic damages claims for dozens of
plaintiffs. The class included plaintiffs who worked for a variety of employers, each with unique
compensation structures. We evaluated claims of lost back and front pay as well as
changes to health and retirement benefits. We further rebutted the defense's expert report.
